Absolutely fantastic machine, huge add to my home gym, do your homework, this unit is the one. Very happy with my purchase
I just put this machine together today, 9/5/26, & absolutely love it! I’m 5’4” and am able to do all exercises very comfortably. My son is 6’ and has the same ease! The instructions putting it together was incredibly easy as well. I’m excited I bought this amazing combo!
My wife purchased me the leg curl / leg extension v4.0. It came missing a few bushing/sleeves to assemble the back pad frame onto the machine. Sent in an email to their support, since there is no phone number for their support, but no response. I can either purchase some second hand, have some made, or send the machine back. Unfortunately everything is assembled, except for the one frame, and I’d hate to have to disassemble and repackage it, but I guess that’s what I’ll be doing.
On the upside, it appears to be a well made machine, minus the missing parts.
Hi Tim,
We are very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused.
Because we were waiting on the photos to verify the exact parts needed and our support team was away over the weekend, our response was delayed. We have now followed up via email, and the replacement bushings/sleeves have been arranged for shipment.
Please check your inbox for our latest email containing the full details.
Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and kind words regarding the quality of the machine.
Overall, this a solid residential machine that operates as advertised, and is functional for our needs that should serve us for a long time.
Putting the machine together was relatively straightforward and instructions were easy to follow. Mine was missing a couple of bolts, but I was impatient and just went to the store and grabbed them (8 bucks). Although, I'm sure if I would have reached out Lionscool would have taken care of it. Use an impact drill and/or rachet as it will make life easier. Took about 1.5hrs and I'm pretty handy, but wouldn't be too difficult for anyone able bodied.
Functionality...for reference, I'm 6'2/250lb and my youngest son is 6'/ 180lb. Hacksquat is comfortable both top to bottom, although getting on/off of the machine is a bit awkward. Its a combo machine so its expected. Just takes getting used to it guess. Large adjustable foot plate, which is great.
Legpress...getting in/out is a little awkward, but again its a combo machine and will just take some time getting used to. Foot plate is big enough, and the adjustability for ankles is a nice touch. Iso movement is different at the 45 degree angle, but I like it overall. Locking the footplate together works, but under heavier loads (3+ plates) I noticed the footplate separates as it comes down. This seems like a wear point over time. Maybe a simple "locking" mechanism at the top to prevent that give point to prevent stress under a heavier load could mitigate this issue.
Only had about a dozen workouts overall, and satisfied to this point. Time will tell, but I can't imagine my opinion will change much as this machine is pretty well built for residential use. Worth the investment especially compared to other similar products on the market.
This has been a great piece of equipment to add to the home gym. It did take some time to put together but well worth it with the low cost. I would recommend this to anyone looking to add additional leg machine to the gym.
Recently received the machine, and have been using it for the last two weeks. Overall, for the budget price, it really is better than I expected honestly. The few things that I’ll list as shortcomings really aren’t major issues, and definitely not something I would complain about considering the price. The overall functionality and smoothness of the machine are outstanding. I’m 6’2” and have no issues getting to depth at hack squat or pressing. That being said, the three things I see for improvement are:
the safety rails. One of the few things that feel cheap on the machine.
The coating/paint scratches really easily. The area to Chang the angle of the foot plates, and where the safety rails catch the weight are already scratched up pretty good. I’m not one that cares too much about appearance, but thought it was worth mentioning
My biggest complaint is the handles that you hold while hack squatting. There should be another bolt at the top of them. It’s fine while hack squatting and you’re pressing up on them, but when getting out of the machine, if you’re pressing down on them, the metal is thin and will bend.
A budget equipment that feels and performs like the others costing twice as much ! Would definitely recommend.
Lionscool just went way overboard to make things right. I had contacted them for help with the knee extension machine on which the leg roller had gone a bit cattywampus. After some back and forth emails, we just got things completely taken care of. They care about the product they’re selling and they care about their reputation for quality service.
The machine is a really solid product. The range of motion is good on both knee extensions and ham curls. I have a home gym in which we host a weekly fellowship for young men and their dads. The addition of the leg extension has been a nice complement to all the squats and deadlifts they do. Ham curls are like tonic after deadlifts!
Excellent machine that provides a very stable frame for both exercises. Additionally, the strength curve, enhanced by the cable feature, provides an excellent tension consistency. The instructions were simple to follow. Overall, the excellent buyer experience combined with the quality of the machine allows me to readily recommend this to any interested in a low footprint, high leverage addition to any gym.
Absolutely hands down one of the best home gym equipment pieces I have purchased. I feel like I just started working out again and I am a seasoned lifter
I watched a ton of reviews. The machine is living up to its hype. One of my concerns was being 6’2” as I saw some short people reviewing it, and it made me question whether my feet would hit the ground. I’m having no problems with my height at all or my freakishly long ostrich legs. I sometimes bottom out the range of motion on curls. I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker, but hopefully something I can find tune with adjustments.
Following up on my 5/6 review. I jerry-rigged the machine to add two vertical grips on top of the thigh pad holder (see pics), using a pair of M10 Auxiliary Side Handles, you can buy on Amazon, and a pair of M10 threaded rods, black coupling nuts and black washers, you can get from any hardware store, for around $20. Why can’t Lionscool just include something like that out of the box?
I think my seat weld maybe off a bit. Seems to be made well other than my issue. I’ll see if customer service can assist
I would classify this machine as a commercial home gym machine. Thats how good it is. Would be cool to have clamps to prevent weight plates from sliding potentially off
For the price extremely happy resistance and feel of unit.
This machine is great! Excellent range of motion, resistance remains the same throughout the entire movement, and easy to adjust. There are a couple of minor things that could make this machine even better for me — a larger back pad and different placement of the support bar underneath the seat for even better leg extension ROM. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow but there were a couple of inaccuracies involving wrong bolt sizes. This machine is definitely worth the money and I highly recommend it!
This machine is amazing quality, especially at this price point. It was easy to put together, works very well and is versatile. Also, I had a small delivery issue and customer service handled it super quickly.
Quick shipping! Easy to assemble and Over all great product! Great addition to my small home gym!
Great leg extension / curl machine for the price. The range of motion is excellent, the resistance curve is perfect, and the build quality is solid and stable. Honestly, you won’t find anything better in this price range. Highly recommend.
Actually one of the only combo units we’ve ever used that was versatile enough for short and tall people. My lady is 5’1 and she’s able to hit depth. Rods are extremely smooth Well built, great customer service.
For the price, you really can’t beat it. The LionsCool leg extension/leg curl machine is solid, good-quality equipment with a smooth weight ratio that works well for anyone building an at-home gym. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and feels sturdy during use.
The range of motion is good, and having a dedicated leg developer is a big upgrade compared to bench attachments, even though it does take up a bit more floor space. In my opinion, the trade-off is worth it for the stability and overall feel.
The only real downside so far is the padding. It could be thicker or offer a bit more support under the legs during leg extensions. With extended or frequent use, that might become noticeable, but it hasn’t been a deal-breaker for me yet.
Overall, this is a great value machine for home use functional, well built for the cost, and a solid option if you want proper leg extensions and curls without spending commercial gym money.
It’s just what I was looking for Perfect for what I needed.
Great product, I love the cable so there’s no slack and you get tension right away. The adjustments are pretty easy going from extensions to curls. You definitely do need a collar on the on side other wise weights do fall off. I would give five stars but the bottom foam roll came with impressions on it.
